2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Hours: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Responsible for the daily oversight of work assignments for the production floor on the assigned shift(s). Directly supervises the activities of press operators, packers, assemblers, and other production personnel on the assigned shift(s)

~ Required Education & Experience

Minimum of Associates degree. Minimum of 2-4 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. Proven leadership experience in leading and coaching employees. Experience may be substituted for the education requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager or the Plant Manager.

No traveling is anticipated.

~ Work Responsibilities & Activities

• Ensures that production parts are molded according to established quality standards for dimensional and weight specifications.
• In conjunction with the shift Production Lead (if any), oversees the setup and startup of production jobs in accordance with standardized process parameters.
• Issues deviation documentation for any job that, for production purposes, cannot be run with the established standard parameters.
• Oversees the setup and operation of all pressing equipment to optimize production by monitoring cycle times, steam pressure and resin density, and scrap in order to meet and exceed established production standards.
• Assists the Production Manager with the coordination of tool changes and press startup activities in conjunction with production schedule(s).
• Responsible for training and performance evaluation for all production personnel within sphere of control.
• Reports shift production result data for input into the company’s ERP system and also records that data into the company’s production history database.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Ensure that the Environmental and Safety policies are followed.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.

• Responsible for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

Material Handler – 1st & 2nd shift openings

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM       2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Support warehouse operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be loaded for shipment, unloaded and added to inventory, or organized in the warehouse.

~ Required Education & Experience

Minimum of High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required. Must have at least 3 months experience driving forklift equipment. Experience may be substituted for the education requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager or Plant Manager.

~ Work Responsibilities & Activities

•Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.

Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work directly under our Floor Supervisor. This position will gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.

Prefer forklift experience or the ability to be trained on forklift. 1-2 years previous experience as a technician or machine operator in a manufacturing environment required. Relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement at the discretion of the Plant Manager.

•Processes finish product.
• Molds logs.
• Inspect quality of logs.

2nd Shift Pre-Expander Operator

Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

The function of this position is to operate the facility’s pre-expander equipment to provide for adequate expanded resin(s) in the designated and specified densities to meet the facility’s daily production requirements.

~ Work Responsibilities & Activities

•Operation of batch pre-expander, continuous expander, and/or raw material tipper, as assigned;
• Performs the unloading of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) materials) received in bulk trailers using designated vacuum system designed for such purpose, ensuring that the bulk material is loaded into the correct storage silo(s).
• Insure that the information on the material inventory board(s) are accurate and up-to-date.
• Retrieve raw material(s) from inventory for expansion;
• Inspect expansion equipment prior to operation to insure its safe operating condition;
• Insure the proper location and storage of expanded bead in the designated storage hopper(s);
• Records expansion data on Bead Storage Location board and reports expansion activity to Inventory Control Specialist;
• Reports raw material usage on the Raw material Daily Report and also delivers that report to the Inventory Control Specialist or other person designated to enter resin consumption data into the company’s inventory control system(s);
• Performs sampling tests on raw materials and delivers the resulting data to the Quality team;
• Insures that expanded bead has passed the appropriate quality inspection(s) and is approved for use in production;
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.

2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Transportation Dispatcher

Hours: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports to our Transportation Manager. Under general supervision, ensuring safe and timely movement of freight, load assignments and providing best in class customer service. Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.

• Overall management of key factors such as load planning, tracking and tracing and broker communication.
• General dispatch duties, assigning drivers to loads. Always keeping the drivers’ needs and availability in mind.

Diesel Truck Maintenance Mechanic

Hours: M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Reports to our Transportation Manager.

For this position you need to be a self motivated, conscientious, dedicated person with integrity.  You will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of 11 tractors and 50 trailers as well as our company fleet of smaller vehicles. You must be able to work without direct supervision and accomplish the assigned work independently and in an efficient manner. In addition to working on our fleet of vehicles you will also have the opportunity to gain experience helping to repair various manufacturing equipment in the plant.

~ Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair and state inspections of private fleet.
• Class 8 Trucks
• 53 foot dry van trailers
• 53 foot drop decks
• Various cars, trucks and shop equipment
• Keep a clean and organized shop.
• Repair work to manufacturing machinery in the plant.
