Fun in Disney is a given. Fun with Foam in Disney is often hidden in plain sight.

As you can imagine, using EPS foam, a strong, versatile, lightweight building material, is perfect for floats and as sculpting material for characters. In various stage and experience sets it is often the way to go. EPS foam can be transformed into anything and can create any type of environment. It is the perfect material of choice for a place where your imagination runs wild!

Pair its lightweight properties with a creative mind and talented hands and EPS can quickly transform any space into a magical wonderland and bring colorful characters to life. As Mr. Disney himself said, “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

Although we do not have the inside scoop with Disney and what was made with EPS versus other materials, we thought it would be fun to explore the internet seeking ways EPS could have been used in building or sculpting applications. We think you’ll find that the possibilities really are endless!

Disney World (Florida) and Disneyland (California) are both outside Insulation Company of America’s delivery area. However, take a visit to the neighboring Dorney Park in Allentown, PA or a quick trip into New Jersey to Six Flags Great Adventure and you are sure to see many EPS creations. How about these Dinosaur Alive costumes for Dorney Park’s exhibit, utilizing ICA’s EPS foam?!

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be at a big amusement park or even Disney to appreciate the characteristics of EPS for setting up great performances! You can create that Disney magic anywhere! Bucks County Playhouse did a phenomenal job transforming their stage into Agrabah for their 2015 production of Aladdin, Jr.!
