ICA's Sandy Posocco and Cindy Masiko lead small business in EPS Industry

Women-Owned Business Flourishing in EPS Industry

An expanded polystyrene (EPS foam) manufacturing business flourishing in the heart of the Lehigh Valley, Insulation Company of America (ICA) is led by two amazing women, sisters Cindy Masiko and Sandy Posocco. Together they continue to bring family-oriented core values, hard work and success to the ICA team, which started with their dad back in 1981.

Born in 1931, Thomas Higgins was raised in poor times but developed a determined drive to be successful. While he had a long history of experience in many different areas, manufacturing and EPS foam were not listed among Tom’s credentials. In 1972, prior to ICA and after his long career as an ironworker, Tom started a successful steel erection company, Northern Lehigh Erectors. His progressive thinking eventually led him from steel to foam; and his tenacious personality formed ICA into the prosperous company it is today.

CEO Passing a Legacy to Daughters

In 2012, Tom passed his legacy on to his daughters, Cindy Masiko (President) and Sandy Posocco (Vice President). Cindy has been working with her father since 1989 and Sandy rejoined the family businessTom passing successful small business to daughters in 2010. Cindy is well versed in direct sales and customer service and the go-to person for ICA clients. She retains a unique hands-on approach with a focus on outstanding customer service and the best possible solution to meet the needs of each client.

With her background in design and interest in technology, Sandy leads the way in elevating ICA’s web and social media presence. Sandy finds the endless uses of EPS foam fascinating and strives to eliminate the misconceptions that surround EPS through relevant blogs and social media posts. Together, these sisters will continue to keep this WBENC Certified Women-Owned company at the forefront of the EPS industry.

Filled with care, loyalty, honesty, understanding and a bit of humor, ICA has become more than just a workplace. Cindy and Sandy have created a welcoming environment that all started with the heart and soul of their inspirational father. To employees and customers alike, ICA is and always will be family.

A huge heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to all of our customers, employees and friends – you are all a part of the ICA family. We could not be where we are today without all of you!
