Thinking Outside the Pit with Geofoam

Mack Truck Geofoam Project

Mack Truck, a neighboring business to ICA, had a void to fill and turned to The Bazella Group and Geofoam for a solution. The pit was built to house a dynamometer that will be installed at a later time. In the meantime, Mack wanted to utilize this floor space. The pit was simply filled with EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) blocks and topped with a reinforced concrete cap. As we find in this and many applications, concrete and EPS make the perfect companions. When they are ready for the installation of the dynamometer, the concrete cap and the foam will be removed. The foam will then be reused in additional pits.

Just another EPS solution to add to the list of literally thousands of uses. What can this Extraordinary Product Solution do for you and your next project?
