General Laborer

~ Job Tasks

• Performs general manual labor tasks including packaging, labeling, lifting and loading product
• Assists machine operators as needed
• Works as part of a team in a manufacturing operation
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Other duties as assigned

~ Physical Requirements

• 8-10 hours daily requiring standing to perform job

~ Requirements/Skills

• Report all safety-related problems & accidents to immediate supervisor
• Maintains and keeps equipment and/or work area in an orderly manner
• Observes plant safety rules
• Must be reliable
• Excellent attendance is a must
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)
• Must be a team player
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Must be self-motivated
• Hours will vary based on production with a start time of 6:00 AM; this position requires flexibility to work longer shifts, as needed
• Potential for overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required

Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work directly under our Floor Supervisor. This position will gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.

~ Work Responsibilities & Activities

• Machine operator for Bead Expansion and Molding process of raw material.
• Machine operator for hot wire cutting lines with efficient consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
• Stretch wrap bundles as needed/palletizing.
• Track block numbers.
• Tape measure/ruler knowledge.
• Adaptive to change (Moving from one line to another).
• Multitasking.
• Basic math skills.

~ Basic Qualifications

• Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.

Maintenance Technician Assistant

As a Maintenance Technician Assistant you will analyze and diagnose problems, maintain all plant systems (fire protection, plumbing, cooling water, HVAC, compressed air, etc…), perform equipment preventative maintenance, execute projects to reduce machine downtime and improve equipment performance, and provide machining, welding, and plumbing services as needed.

~ Hours

• 1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM
• On Call
• Overtime

~ Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

• Minimum two years verifiable recent tractor trailer experience required

• Must be able to follow company rules and FMCSA laws
